Interests: We live 1/2 mile from the beach, so that's a big part
of our lives. One of my biggests "hobbies" right now is
trying to get the appropriate help for my 3-1/2 year old autistic son,
which involves many doctor visits, school appointments, conferences on
autism, etc., etc. Can be a bit overwhelming. Teach 3-year-old
Sunday School class and many church activities.
Memories:
Most of my memories are about band and band camp. We had a lot of
talent in our school...in many areas, not just band. We really had
quite an assortment of classmates but, all in all, it was a pretty cool
class.
News: Not really. Have unfortunately lost touch with
most all classmates.
Other: So sorry to miss the reunion. I really was
hoping to be there but my son needs to attend summer school to "keep
him on track" so we'll hang out down here this summer. Hope

thought Zappa was cool for letting us do that.

Memories: Touring Theatre. What a way to waste an entire day and
get graded for it. You're right Jimmy, sadly no one paints the rock any
more. Going to McDonalds in full clown dress and ordering 25 Big
Macs and being offended that they did not believe me!!! Signing the
back of the flats and going back 25 years later and seeing your name still
there just upside down!
News: Twenty five years. The town has changed.

a start on the next 25 years so we can look back again with old and new
friends.

Memories: Loved Principle Donovan's reaction to the Great Donut
Run of 1977. After seeing everyone dive into my car and speeding
away, he confronted me backstage - where the donut contraband was stashed
- looked me in the eye and said "VERBECK - Where's MY donut? He
turned and scampered away with the sugary confection! I didn't know
whether to laugh or cry. I'll never forget that. I thought I
was detention-bound for sure!
