I remember our Junior prom, the class plays, the sports games and matches, skipping school as a senior and Jenny Donovan keeping us out of detention, and finally how happy we were on graduation day {and young, too!} I remember more gripping things too, like going into Civics class and finding out four kids had been shot at Kent State. News: I haven't seen any teachers lately, but I recently had to change my own flat tire. I thought back to some 30 odd years ago when Mr. Catalano made me do that in drivers training and I thought he was nuts. I'd like to thank him now. It took me over 30 years to put that knowledge into practice, but it sure came in handy! Other: It's great we're all keeping in touch! |

Grandkids: I have four grandchildren. Peter and Adrian who are 12 and 9 live in Los Angeles. Michael and Angelina who are 9 and 8 live in Toledo. Interests: Right now I work full time and attend class three times a week--Pitt at Bradford to get a degree as a Health Insurance Specialist. Studying at this time in life is definitely not one of my favorite things. Memories: Memories are becoming fuzzy. What I do remember is that my high school years were happy ones for me. I came to RHS in 9th grade from St. Leo's. I remember how terrified I was thinking I was going to get lost in that big school. I babysat for Coach Catalano's kids, so he gave me a grand tour before school opened for the fall. I still couldn't sleep the night before the first day of school. Other: We are having great time planning our 35th class reunion. I am looking forward to seeing friends I haven't seen in a while. I get so busy in my every day life that even classmates who still live in Ridgway I haven't seen in a long time. |

Decided since John had to go on 3-11 shift, we started our life out on opposite shifts and do not want to end our life like that, so now I am home with him and ALSO get to travel a lot more! Kids: Tim (deceased), Becky (29), married, lives in Harrisburg; Suzanne (25), lives in New Milford, NJ Grandkids: 2 granddaughters, Emma (2) and Olivia (6 months) Interests: crocheting, quilting, cross stitch, reading, walking, playing piano, visiting friends, traveling. Memories: Memories of RHS are fading fast, when I walk the halls today, so much has changed and doesn't seem to have the same effect as it did just a few years ago when our kids were there.....so the few good memories that are still with me, are all about the fun class we were and still seeing so many classmates still here in good ole Ridgway! I have also battled surgery with both kidneys with cancer but now cancer free. Other: I really enjoyed looking at the pictures and to tell you the truth everyone has really changed. But loved the group picture and look forward to maybe getting to the next class reunion. I was married to my first husband 20 years and now I am been married to David for 4 years and I have 4 children: Larry Jr. 34, Tona 32, are in Al. Jeff 30 in TX and Jennifer 29 in Japan. My husband is from England we met in Witchita, TX while visiting my daughter and we have been in Houston for 3 years as his job brought us here. He is a CNC programmer and designs parts for aircrafts and etc. the machine then makes. I left Pa. in 86 and moved to Alabama. Then from 1990-93 I was in Fulda, Germany . |

Memories: As my kids have gone through high school, especially their senior year (my second son just finished his senior year this year!), it does bring up a lot of RHS memories. Most of them good. News: Used to get some reports on former teachers from my mom until she retired in 1999 as RHS school nurse. Marti's mom still lives in her same house on Euclid Avenue, and we get back once or twice a year. We canoed the Clarion last summer (2004) - what a hoot! Other: My brother and I are willing to keep this site going as long as people like it and contribute. We have some costs associated with it but are trying to offset those by helping other RHS classes set up similar sites. So, if you hear anyone whose class is interested, refer them to me, please. |

News: I really remember how hard it was to leave all those I had grown up with after my Mother had died in 1968; but the move to Maryland was the best that ever happened to me: it started my career and other venues that I have had the pleasure of enjoying over the years. Memories: I remember the old arc bridge and the many times I walked across it to get to the elementary and high school, and running from the cops the nights we would "sleep out". Little did I know I would become one and have a 26 year career culminating with retiring as a Chief of Police! |

I have coached soccer and Little league for the past 8 years. We are very active in Boy Scouts. I was Packmaster for 4 years and am currently an assistant Scout Master with the local troop. As a family, we do a lot of camping in the eastern US. The boys and I are also into back packing. We usually do 3-4 trips a year in addition to the Scouting activities. Winter camp outs are my favorites. We do a lot of gardening and in the early spring we tap our maple trees and make ten or so gallons of maple syrup and ship it to friends and family around the country. Both Linda and I are active with various community organizations and the church. Recently I have ventured into politics and got myself elected to the local school board. This may prove to be a mistake. I guess that kind of sums it up. Memories: Boy, there are so many. Mostly the people, friends and the good times we had together. A lot of fond memories about working at the Market Basket with Ron and Bob. I agree with Ron Fannin about nectar heaven. Some of my most treasured memories are simply the conversations we had in the cafeteria waiting for the Montmorenci school bus with Susan, Ginger, Dick, Todd,and others. I truely look forward to July. |

The best thing about having grandchildren is no one questions why you are watching Winnie the Pooh. Before my father died in February of 2001, we had the blessing of having four generations living in one household. Love to garden, herbs are my favorite. The herb garden is my therapy. Try to spend as much time there as possible. Enjoy Bible reading and study. I am the third generation to live in my house, with two other generations living with me. I have 3 cats, 1 dog (described by some as a pony in a dog suit). She is not really that big only 165lbs. Memories: Great memories of great friends.
